Do you work from home? It seems like after 2020, most people in jobs that can be done remotely are taking advantage of the opportunity to work from home. Hello, it’s me. I’m people. I absolutely love working remotely and my dream is to just live all over the world while doing my job from my laptop.
I do, however, need a change of scenery from time to time. When I feel like working outside of my house, I immediately look for a new coffee shop to try out! I’ve come up with a list of things to consider when looking for a coffee shop to work out of.
- Is wifi available? If they do, make sure it’s accessible to everyone and not just customers. Some coffee shops require you to buy something to get the wifi information.
- How’s the noise level? Does it get pretty crowded? This is something you definitely need to consider since you will be there to work.
- Do they offer light bites and good coffee? Of course, this only matters if you actually drink coffee, but it’s something else to consider! If you’re spending a good amount of time working there, be sure to find out if they offer any food so you’re not having to pack up and leave just to get food.
- Lastly, is the furniture comfortable? Is there enough space to sit and work? Some coffee shops are small and may not have the right space for you to sit and work, especially if you have more than just a laptop.
Now, go out there and find your new favorite coffee shop to work from!
